Careworld - a new look!

Welcome back to the Careworld site... as you will see there has been quite a bit of change! After many years of providing a digest of current news items and the occasional in depth study about the care sector we have decided it was time to re-examine our approach.
The first thing to note is our new web log... here we are highlighting issues within the sector and stating our opinion in our usual brusque manner.
We have started to update and prune our links page. Let us know if you think some site you find useful should be added
Use the search facility on the weblog site to find articles.
By the way for the time being at least you can still search our database of old articles using the search facility on this page

Careworld launch new WebLog
The care sector has always been starved of the monies it needs to perform the service that the public expects and that the politicians claim they are delivering. Careworld aims to highlight the inadequacies, the poor decision making, the hypocrisy and their consequences. We will try to offer a better way forward. But to achieve this we will need YOUR input and help...work with us to make a real difference!
Our new weblog will give you the opportunity to publish your views. Or, if you have an idea for an article please email us and we can take it from there!

Another good year for Careworld!
There were 150,000 visits to the Careworld web site during the year ending 31st March 2007 - so thank you for your support

Feedback...
Thank you all for the emails and posts. Generally there has been good feedback on the changes from a care news format to a weblog one. Many have said that they would like to see more (relevant)images on the site to break up the articles, so we will take this on board. Some believe that we should take a wider definition of care and include for example articles on some education matters. This is now under consideration.

Many of you have made suggestions about possible articles (thank you) and we have already used a number of them.

Please keep the feedback coming!
